Electrical Supervisor - E/I Projects (Low and High Voltage)
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Supervisor to lead our clients low and high voltage projects at their site. In this critical role, you will prioritise electrical safety, maintain exceptional quality standards, and ensure project progress stays on track while adhering to budget constraints.
As work will be conducted on operational installations, it is essential to provide a daily status overview of the ongoing work. Constant coordination with operations is crucial to optimise efficiency, and your ability to think flexibly and devise solutions will be invaluable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate planning for all electrical and instrumentation (E/I) items.
- Oversee work execution in accordance with safety procedures and work instructions.
- Contribute to the development of accurate construction packages and ensure timely delivery of as-built packages.
- Supervise and manage (pre)commissioning activities.
- Adhere to HSE requirements as per the A&M plan.
- Provide valuable input during the engineering phase of projects.
- Maintain contacts with key internal and external stakeholders throughout the project's preparation and implementation stages.
- Participate in constructability reviews.
- Participate in contract negotiations and advise project engineers on contract strategy.
- Assess and authorize additional/less work.
- Assist in creating a comprehensive construction implementation plan.
- Approve invoices for relevant projects.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Stipel LV/HV WV certification.
- Atex level 8 (inspector) certification.
- Minimum MBO energy technology or equivalent qualification.
- Previous work experience in the petrochemical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the structure and operation of electrical distribution installations.
- Experience with project construction and commissioning is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication abilities.
