Our Finance Operations and Controlling Excellence business unit specializes in the delivery of Finance Transformations at our global clients. The opportunity
CFOs and their finance functions are facing unprecedented disruption. Emerging technologies, increasing globalization and new regulations require finance organizations to critically think about improving their strategy and performance. As a finance transformation consultant, you understand the complex problems our clients face in this rapidly changing environment. You will work on fast paced projects in the field of:- Finance strategy and operating model design
- Intelligence automation (Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Blockchain)
- Global business services (Shared Services/ Outsourcing)
- Controlling excellence (Redefining the role of controllers as a business partner)
- Large-scale transformation projects
Your key responsibilities
Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional analytical insights for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers so you’ll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues.Skills and attributes for success
- Collaborating with the team to plan project strategy/objectives, undertaking risk assessments and leading the engagements to deliver agreed plan
- Developing and maintaining productive and long term relationships with client management
- Understanding the industry and recognizing key performance drivers, business trends, emerging technical developments and impact to the clients; being visible in the marketplace and recognized as a quality service advisor.
- Leading by example, developing and mentoring engagement junior team members.
- Using technology to continuously learn, share knowledge and enhance service delivery.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Excellent academic background including a Master’s degree preferably in the field of Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or another related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in consulting/professional services
- Detailed insights in finance organizations, processes and systems with a strong interest in relevant technologies, and preferably have knowledge in the field of RPA or Blockchain
- Motivated to work on fast paced and complex projects and ambition to lead teams and coach junior colleagues in their professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and in Dutch
- Flexibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements both locally and internationally
Ideally you will also have
- A post-gruaduate degree: RC/RA/CMA/MBA.
