Today, the firm has more than 80 lawyers, notaries and international tax lawyers providing a full range of services to domestic and international clients who conduct business nationally and globally. The Luxembourg office, which was launched in 2014 and focusses on tax, corporate and financial law.

To further strengthen the capabilities of our Luxembourg office, Buren Avocats S.à.r.l., and in order to support our growing practice, we are looking for an investment funds lawyer who may also be able to deal with banking and finance transactions. You will be in charge of developing the firm’s investment funds practice. You will advise clients on issues related to real estate, infrastructure or debt funds as well as banking transactions. You will assist in regulatory compliance aspects of investment funds. Furthermore, you will be in charge of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and supervisory authorities. Your target clients will mainly be private equity firms, family offices, investment advisors etc. 

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, autonomous, team-player and motivated lawyer who has a good knowledge of the Luxembourg market and is ready to be part of an ambitious and growing team. 

Your profile:

• Registered with the Luxembourg Bar (

Liste I or Liste IV
);

• At least 5 years of experience in the investment fund or banking department of a Luxembourg law firm or as an in-house lawyer in a Luxembourg financial entity;
• Strong knowledge and experience in Luxembourg investments funds; experience in banking and finance transactions is an asset;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Fluent in English and French (German is an asset);
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills who is able to work in a multi-cultural working environment;
• Self-motivated, open-minded, optimistic and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
