Senior Financial Controller Logistics

Your responsibilities

• Supervise a team of accountants serving numerous Dutch holding entities
• Review of analytical and predictive analyses of the financial results of operational
• subsidiaries of the Group and provide guidance, supervision, co-operation and support for the respective local operation team.
• Providing technical and accounting assistance with re-financing and borrowing transactions.
• Providing assistance with the preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial statements and statutory financial statements.
• Responsible for driving continuous improvements within finance by implementing and reviewing new policies and procedures to ensure best practice and efficiency in reporting and control
• Support the IT implementation and/or integration of finance module.

Technical skills, experience and capabilities

• A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, RA, ACA) is required
• Strong US- GAAP and technical accounting knowledge
• 3-4 years’ experience ideally from the Big 4

1-2 years’ experience in the “business”

• Experience in operational international company - advantage

Previous experience with public companies
Experienced in ERP system implementation 

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Superb analytical skills
