Senior Consultant/Manager Utilities Smart Infrastructure

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategy & Consulting (S&C) Utilities group in the Netherlands. With our Utilities practice we provide industry consulting services to Utilities companies in Power Generation, Energy Transmission & Distribution (T&D), in Water and in Waste. We are industry experts with the insights and capabilities to transform our clients into leading Utilities organizations and help them navigate the energy transition.

Process

As a consultant Smart Infrastructure for Utilities, you will join our S&C Utilities team. You will focus on helping our clients modernize their grid operations and improve their network performance by introducing new concepts such as Control Room of the Future and next generation Smart Meters and by deploying new digital technologies such, IoT, AI, Digital Twin & Analytics in the grid operations domain, to enable efficient transport and distribution while volatility, flexibility and network load increases.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need

C ompleted Master's degree program in a technical direction; e.g. Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science or Technical Chemistry/Natural Sciences/Mathematics

5-8 years of consulting experience and/or relevant industry experience in Energy or Utilities Industry
Experience and interest in the energy transition
Affinity with technology and digitalization
Experience with Information Technology / Operations Technology (IT/OT), Control Rooms, System Operations, asset automation, SCADA, Energy system balancing

Excellent presentation & communication skills in Dutch and English;
You have excellent quantitative and analytical skills;
You are a team player with a “can-do” mentality who can think outside the box
