Then you might be the colleague we are looking for for our creative Sales team. Sales experience is not necessary. Excellent communication & administrative skills though!

Job description:

You work full-time on the administrative support of the Sales team. This team is involved on a daily basis with selling/letting and creatively developing styling concepts for the event industry.

As a Sales Support employee you start with the following activities:

• Putting quotations in the system based on described information & floor plans and keeping this up to date;
• Request purchase quotes from suppliers, with an investigative ability to search for specific products;
• Convert quotations into orders and set out actions that follow from this, such as prepayment and logistics actions;
• Answering and transferring the telephone and maintaining and optimizing contacts with existing relations by telephone;
• Following and regularly calling clients with outstanding quotations;
• Ensure adequate information transfer with regard to completed assignments to those responsible for implementation;
• Receive guests who come by appointment at VDM, with coffee/tea.

Profile

Job requirements

• Minimum HAVO education;
• Interested in administrative and commercial work;
• Ambition to grow from this starting position to Account Manager junior;
• Computer literate: knowledge of Office, CRM and working with a rental administration program such as CCM (or willing to learn this);
• An excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing is an important requirement;
• A good command of the German language in word and writing is an advantage.
