Operator Production Line - Fish Products

About the company

For our client in Spakenburg we are looking for an operator. Located in the so-called fishermen's capital of the Netherlands is this company. This is also what they do, producing and selling high quality fish products. Focused on the retail market both in and outside the Netherlands.

Work

As an Operator within the Operations Department, you will be responsible for the supervision and execution of the assigned production line. You will work within a framework of strict hygiene, quality and safety regulations. Your duties will include receiving fish products, adjusting machines correctly, instructing staff and controlling packaging tasks. You monitor the quality of the products through various control methods and report deviations to your supervisor. It is your responsibility to ensure that the production line operates in a safe and hygienic manner, and to identify and report any problems with the machines. In addition, you perform first-line troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure the continuity of the production process.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has knowledge of hygiene and quality regulations
• Has knowledge of production machines
• At least MBO working and thinking level
• Experience as an operator in a production department, preferably in the food industry (is an advantage)

Details

Operators will first be scheduled as a production worker for 2 weeks before being assigned as an operator.

Wages for these positions are as follows:
Production worker: € 13.27 per hour
Operator: € 14.34 per hour
