is looking for a hands-on 
Trade Compliance Officer
,
based at our location of Pop Vriend Seeds in Andijk. the Netherlands.
In this new role you maintain a current and complete understanding of worldwide import/export regulations of genetic material. You act as the compliance interface to all internal and external business partners. You will report to the Customer Lead.

 

Your tasks:
Manage regulatory issues impacting import and export of genetics (seeds/plants/plant parts/pathogens/DNA)
Develop expertise on regulatory issues on import permits, phytosanitary and seed treatments to support routine imports and exports of genetics
Leading / participating in working group(s) to organize internal processes and implementing relevant regulatory decisions to meet seed movement requirements

 

Your profile:
A minimum of a bachelor degree in Agricultural Business Administration / International Trade
Preferably 5 or more years’ experience in international seed industry, preferable in vegetables seeds
Proven experience with Trade Compliance subjects
Fluent English and Dutch in word and writing
You are analytical, result orientated, self-organized and pro-active
