All services for Impats

For new employees from foreign countries TNO takes care of a number of things. Below you can find an overview of all services TNO offers to Impats.

Coming to the Netherlands

Employees relocating to The Netherlands will be supported by ‘AGS KHZ’. Depending on the country of origin, familiarity with The Netherlands, the household situation etc. a package is put together from the services mentioned below. Airport Meet & Greet accompanied transfer from the airport to the accommodation.

Preview trip

Including a Welcome Pack containing maps and general information, introduction to practical and cultural aspects of life in The Netherlands, a visit of the area and the city and a visit of several housing possibilities.

Moving

Including supplying all necessary packing materials, the dismantling of standard furniture, delivery into residence, unpacking and reassembly of the dismantled furniture Accommodation Accompanied viewing of preselected houses, lease negotiations, utility connections, inventory preparation, liason between employee and letting agent/landlord and accompanied home check-in.

Education

Introduction to local and international school systems, assistance in school selection and application, accompanied visit to preferred schools and information on day care and kindergartens.

Settling-in assistance

Accompanied visits for local registration and obtainment of Social Security Number, opening bank account, Information on changing drivers’ license, providing names and addresses of family doctors and dentists, neighbourhood orientation and information on public transport, home essentials health care system, personal finance, etc.

Partner Support

Depending on the individual goals, specific advice is given about and assisted in finding a job, education opportunities, volunteer work, expat groups or associations etc.

VISAS

Depending on the country of origin, it may be possible that the employee needs a working or employment visa to stay and work in The Netherlands. TNO will take care of the necessary visas.

30% TAX RULING

The 30% tax ruling is a fiscal facility for foreign employees who are coming to work in The Netherlands (temporarily) and have specific experience or expertise which is not, or rarely available in the Netherlands. An employee can be eligible for this tax ruling if a number of conditions are met. The 30% tax ruling can be applied for a maximum of 5 years.

Training in Dutch language and culture

To support the impats in making a successful start in the Netherlands, TNO offers training in the Dutch language and culture.

Dutch individual tax return

The employee can make use of support in filing tax returns over the year of arrival in The Netherlands by a company selected by TNO.
