What will you do as a truck driver?

As a truck driver at Gjaltema, no day is the same. One day you will be driving through the hustle and bustle of the city and the next you will go into the region and drive through the beautiful Dutch landscape. You do all this with one goal: transporting our aerial platforms, telehandlers and construction site material to the customer.

You ensure the timely delivery and collection of aerial work platforms, telehandlers and construction site materials. Where necessary, you explain the operation of the machine to the tenant.

You are more than just a truck driver: you are given the responsibility for the entire process.

What we ask of you

At the Gjaltema Group we do it together, so naturally you are a team player.
Are you stuck in traffic or is there a problem at the loading or unloading location? You remain calm and know better than anyone how to deal with these kinds of situations because of your customer-friendliness and good communication skills.

A checklist so you can quickly see if we are a match:

You can:

• work accurately;
• independently take up tasks;
• keep an eye on the overview despite the crowds.

You have:

• a valid CE driver’s license;
• a valid driver card;
• a complete code 95;
• a valid forklift truck certificate;
• several years of experience in a similar position (plus);
• good communication skills;
• no 9-to-5 mentality.

You are:

• resistant to hectic;
• customer-friendly;
• our business card.

Your working days are Monday to Friday. During busy periods, an overnight stay may be required.
