Van Lanschot Kempen is a reputable financial institution and strongly committed to compliance and data integrity. As part of our mission to streamline archiving processes and optimize compliance, we are embarking on the Van Lanschot Kempen Communication Vault (VCV) project. This initiative aims to consolidate and integrate our existing archiving solutions into a centralized communication vault, enhancing our ability to defend legal interests and monitor communication for trade abuse. As Full Stack Developer you will have an important role in this project and amongst the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the Van Lanschot Kempen Communication Vault (VCV) application
  • Develop a secure user-friendly interface for search and listening to conversations
  • Ensure data integrity and security through the implementation of robust data retention policies and stringent security measures
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from Risk and Compliance departments, to address their specific needs and priorities
  • Adopt infrastructure as code methodologies, deploy DTAP development practices, and prioritize testability for efficient and scalable development
  • Design and implement features and functionalities including voice-to-text transcription, summarization, enrichment, and complaint management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the VCV application

  • Proven experience as a full stack developer, with expertise in C# and .NET framework
  • Experience with Blazor framework, including MudBlazor and material design
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with with NoSQL databases, specifically CosmosDB
  • Understanding of graph databases, gremlin and data modeling concepts
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

The Data Management department is part of the Digital, Advanced Analytics & Technology (DAAT) cluster. DAAT has over 400 employees who play a central role within the organization. With the DAAT departments, we are building a world-class technology platform for wealth management.

Data Management consists of approximately 60 colleagues divided into 7 different teams, each with their own focus. Together, the teams are responsible for the realization, testing, and management of the data warehouse and analytics platform, as well as a couple of data heavy applications. The roles within the department are very diverse, ranging from DWH Developer to Data Architect, from Administrator to Product Owner. We regularly have drinks, and the FunStuff team organizes sports and culinary activities.
