Heb jij een afgeronde Laboranten opleiding op MBO niveau 3 of 4 en wil jij een bijdrage leveren aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe medicijnen en vaccins? Ben jij nauwkeurig en ben je op zoek naar een baan met variatie in werkzaamheden? Dan zijn we voor het Sample Processing Lab in Groningen op zoek naar jou!

Laborant gezocht: voor 24 tot 40 uur per week.
Op de afdeling SPL (Sample Processing Lab) worden samples (o.a. bloed, urine etc.) volgens specifieke procedures verwerkt en opgeslagen nadat ze zijn afgenomen tijdens klinische onderzoeken in onze kliniek in Groningen. We voeren per jaar zo’n 60 verschillende klinische studies uit. De afgenomen samples worden vervolgens verzonden naar ons laboratorium in Assen voor verdere analyses, maar ook naar laboratoria elders ter wereld. Jij bent dus van onmisbare waarde als het gaat om onze samples!

Laborant binnen Geneesmiddelenonderzoek
Voor het Sample Processing Lab in Groningen zijn we op zoek naar nieuwe collega’s. Als Laborant ben je betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van innovatie medicijnen en vaccins en op deze manier kun jij je maatschappelijk inzetten! Als laborant verwerk je de samples die afkomstig zijn uit klinische studies in onze kliniek. Je bent een echte teamplayer want samen met je collega’s zorg je ervoor dat de kwaliteit bewaakt wordt en dat samples verzonden kunnen worden naar bio-analytische laboratoria over de hele wereld waar verder vervolgonderzoek gedaan wordt.

Elk onderzoek is anders waardoor er voldoende variatie is in de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Denk hierbij aan het correct verwerken van samples (centrifugeren, pipetteren, etc) inpakken van samples voor verzendingen, voorraadbeheer en het uitvoeren van PBMC isolaties en Ex Vivo stimulaties. Kortom, geen dag is hetzelfde! In de lab manuals staat duidelijk uitgelegd hoe bepaalde werkzaamheden verricht moeten worden. Daarnaast kom je te werken binnen een hecht team, iedereen staat voor elkaar klaar als er hulp nodig is!

Wat ga je precies doen?

• De verwerking van afgenomen samples aan de hand van de instructies (lab manuals)
• Het correct documenteren van alle handelingen
• Verantwoordelijk voor de controle m.b.t. de compleetheid van de aangeleverde samples en bijbehorende documentatie
• Het uitvoeren van uitdagende handelingen zoals PBMC isolaties en Ex Vivo stimulaties.
• Verantwoordelijk voor de voorbereidende werkzaamheden voor sample transport
• De administratieve taken voor het Sample Processing Lab
• Het voorraadbeheer van de gebruiksartikelen op het Sample Processing Lab

Wat breng jij mee als Laborant?
Je houdt je hoofd koel en vindt het leuk om te moeten schakelen. Ook ben je iemand die het leuk vindt om verschillende protocollen uit te voeren en die maak je je snel eigen. Natuurlijk wil je vooral graag werken in ons Processing Sample Lab, maar ook:

• Een MBO niveau 3 of 4 opleiding richting laborant
• Een zeer goed organisatorisch vermogen en je werkt accuraat
• Werk je graag onder tijdsdruk in dag-, avond- en weekenddiensten (nachtdiensten in overleg)
• kennis van GLP en/of GCP zou fijn zijn, maar dat kunnen wij je ook leren
• Redelijke beheersing van het Engels

We bieden jou:
