Business Application Specialist SCM

What are you going to do?

Our Nutreco Competence Center, a team of 70 people located across North and South America, Asia, Europe and Australia, supports Nutreco’s worldwide feed business in the area of Infor M3, our ERP system, and other business supporting applications. We are looking for colleagues to strengthen our team in Asia, Europe and the Americas. As business application specialist you are responsible for the implementation and support of our business applications, translation of business requirements into viable solutions and providing guidance and training to our users on both applications and processes.

You will work closely together with your colleagues in the Nutreco Competence Center and in the supply chain and operations departments of our operating companies worldwide. You will be part of multi-disciplinary international project teams for the implementation of existing applications in new factories and new applications in our existing business. During project related assignments you will have the opportunity to travel internationally. 

Your responsibilities

• Application Lifecycle Management: Support, implement, and troubleshoot applications, ensuring smooth operation
• Innovation and Process Enhancement: Proactively develop and improve business application processes to align with business needs
• Process Leadership: Participate in or lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Requirements Gathering: Collect business requirements, translate them into functional designs, and coordinate and implement changes
• Training and Guidance: Develop and provide training and support while building strong relationships with business partners and collaborating with remote teams.

What you bring

• You have a Bachelor's degree in SCM or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in working with Infor M3 in the supply chain/operations area
• Solid business understanding and ability to build relationships between business and IT
• Great communication skills and pro-active attitude
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Fluent in Spanish is a big advantage. Other languages are an advantage
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
