We are looking for a Lead to design and engineer electrical systems for greenfield offshore platforms, and HV substations.

Vacancy information

Lead a team of electrical engineers and designers in the detailed engineering phase of projects.
Drive the design and engineering of electrical systems for greenfield Low Voltage Power distribution, offshore platforms, and HV substations.
Prepare specifications and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical LV systems, including MCC, switchgear, UPS systems, and LV distribution boards.

Conduct Electrical System Studies to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems.
Have in-depth knowledge of MV and HV power distribution systems.
Be familiar with LV distribution systems, such as LV switchgear, UPS systems, and LV distribution boards.
Be proficient in creating various electrical detailed design deliverables, including cable lists, LV distribution block diagrams, small power/lighting/earthing layouts, termination diagrams, installation typical hookups, and mounting typicals.

Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes, such as IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISO, NFPA, NEMA, API, and others.
Work with software tools like ETAP, E3D, and Smart Plant instrumentation to enhance design efficiency.

What do you need

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
At least 13 years of experience working for an engineering company, including leading the team
Expertise in greenfield Low Voltage Power distribution, offshore platform design, and HV substations.
Strong experience in preparing specifications, TBE, and attending FAT for electrical LV systems.
Proficiency in Electrical System Studies and knowledge of MV and HV power distribution systems.
Familiarity with LV distribution systems.
Competence in creating electrical design deliverables.
Conversant with national and international electrical codes.
Experience with ETAP, E3D, and Smart Plant instrumentation is a plus.
