Marketing Manager APAC-Americas

Our Business Unit Export is responsible for worldwide sales and marketing of our brands. We believe that strong local partnerships are key to build long term sustainable brands. Achieving this is a joint effort of our sales and marketing colleagues operating worldwide.

To further strengthen our marketing export team we are looking for a Brand Building Marketeer who will build our brands in selected markets in Asia/Pacific and North-America by increasing the brand(s) presence in store and in minds of our target consumers. Deploy your expertise in below-the-line activities according to the brand strategies. Be the expert in trial and awareness generation via point of sales visibility, promotion and activation in both on and off trade. You will lead and ensure excellent local marketing execution, working closely together with our local sales and marketing experts.

What are you going to do?

• You understand the local consumers, customers, and competitors, and the role the category and the brand could play in each market. Undertake initiatives and actions alongside sales leads and in-market partner staff to increase the penetration of the brand in the local market: you lead the marketing execution.
• You feed the central marketing team with relevant observations and insights from your markets
• You lead brand visibility programs and assure optimal instore impact.
• You deploy activations and experiences that work to increase trial of our brands as well as the value of our brands (BTL and POS).
• You lead the execution of brand plans in trade channels, including e-commerce.
• You will lead, train, and mentor local brand staff team’s.
• You coordinate the marketing budget and spending, training initiatives, and the sales/brand kits.

Who are you?

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing management, and at least 8 years of relevant marketing experience in the FMCG market.
• You live in the Netherlands and are willing to travel to our office in Lieshout at least once a week.
• A strong foundation in consumer marketing. You understand that brands build businesses and bring proven experience in brand management and international marketing.
• A positive, persuasive personality with a hands-on mentality; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• You are familiar with international markets
• Furthermore, you are a proven relationship builder with a track record in value growth through brands. You are able to influence people through open and factual communication.
• You are fluent in English.
• A love for travel and experiencing and understanding other cultures; frequently visits to our key markets won’t faze you.
