Functieomschrijving
You will be a member of the(ITEM) group. The ITEM group currently entails 23 faculty members. In addition, a group of 20 PhD students is affiliated with this group. ITEM’s research program focuses on understanding and improving new business development (NBD) and new product development (NPD) processes within firms, organizations, and institutions in a high-tech context. With the onset of open innovation and the rise of increasingly complex innovation ecosystems, new business and product development is no longer the exclusive playground of single firms. Instead, collaboration with external parties is required to accelerate innovation processes and successfully launch new products to keep pace with competitors. Moreover, marketing, service, and sales play an important role in the process of developing and adopting new products.
The ITEM group currently has an opening for a tenure-track assistant professor who wants to contribute to its research program and teach at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
