The Sales Director Europe is at the forefront of shaping and executing a robust commercial strategy that aligns seamlessly with both regional and organizational objectives. Your primary responsibility entails overseeing the Commercial P&L for Europe, meticulously managing revenue, deal margins, expenses, and overall profitability. The role involves closely monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sustainable growth and profitability, with the authority to implement necessary corrective measures, particularly in areas like claims and accounts receivable. Your acute awareness of market dynamics, customer demands, and competitive opportunities is fundamental in guiding strategic decision-making processes. You play a vital role in devising and implementing pricing strategies and customer engagement initiatives aimed at propelling Driscoll’s achievements. Driscoll’s is looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious Sales Director Europe who can build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners and who fosters the development of a high-performing commercial team.

Candidate profile
  • 12+ years of relevant (sales) experience in an international dynamic environment
  • Experience and knowledge of the fresh produce market
  • Excellent leadership skills and a track record in managing and coaching a large team of sales professionals
  • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial, taking initiative, result oriented, ambitious, decision maker
  • Good command of English. Proficiency in German, Spanish or French would be a plus
