How will you add value to the team?

Interning at SLP provides you with the unique opportunity to participate in a range of M&A advisory assignments. You will be a valued member of the team, working on live deals and pitches to support our deal origination efforts, and receiving direct guidance and mentorship from senior bankers. 

During your 4-6-month internship at our Amsterdam office, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of M&A advisory assignments and pitches, performing the following tasks: 

• Preparing client materials (e.g. pitches, investment committee or board presentations, etc.)
• Financial analysis, modeling, and company valuations
• Conduct in-depth market and industry analyses
• Supporting due diligence processes

You will be treated as a valued member of the team, fully involved in live deals, and receive direct guidance and mentorship from senior bankers.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you should:

• Be a master student or a young graduate, with a strong background in quantitative skills. A degree in finance is preferred but not a necessity. Educational backgrounds in physics or mathematical studies are highly valued
• Understanding of valuation methodologies and applications, along with strong financial and computer skills, with strong analytical abilities
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, which is the primary language spoken at the office and in client meetings (Dutch language skills are not required)
• Be a team player and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Be available for at least 4 months starting from January (6 months preference)
• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, strategy consulting or audit is highly appreciated, but not mandatory.
