Sustainability manager - sustainability manager

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a sustainability professional to unlock your ambition and influence results at a very successful and growing global company. Reporting to the director sustainability & relations, you will be involved in building and executing sustainable entrepreneurship strategies.

your duties and responsibilities

• support in the development of the sustainable entrepreneurship strategy and communication thereof towards different stakeholders
• monitor all sustainability developments, trends and reporting guidelines and integrate them in initiatives, frameworks and reporting
• you are the linking pin between the head office and the business teams on sustainability topics
• stimulate progress of the sustainability improvement plans of the business teams
• manage and provide input to sustainability ratings and benchmarks such as Sustainalytics and Carbon Disclosure Project
• you initiate, drive and manage various sustainability projects, for example related to circularity, packaging or diversity
• increase awareness for sustainable entrepreneurship throughout the organisation, e.g. by developing e-learning or supporting in knowledge
• initiate and prepare publications, presentations, reports and impact stories for internal and external communication

your qualifications and profile

With a MSc degree in the field of sustainability, business administration business economics or another relevant study, you have at least 7 years of experience in a sustainability related position, ideally at an international organisation. You take responsibility and are pragmatic in your delivery, you initiate progress and get things done, not waiting for someone else. in addition:
