About the Position

We are looking for a Dutch speaking Junior Sustainability Consultant to join the Organizations cluster within our Industries consulting team.

Our Industries team is working across different scales (at the material, product and organization level) on:
Environmental footprint assessments and impact reduction strategies
Circular economy strategy development
Circular and sustainable production systems and business models
Developing Key Performance Indicators for monitoring circularity and sustainability performance
In this role, you will work in project teams and primarily support through conducting research, interviews with stakeholders, and analysis. We are looking for someone who is proactive, enjoys communicating complex information into clear and actionable sustainability insights to clients through deliverables such as presentations, reports, and slide decks.

The position is a full-time role. The start date for this position is flexible, but you could begin immediately. The position is based in our offices in Amsterdam.

Your Profile

We are looking for somebody who is outspoken, assertive and eager to learn, and is driven to join our mission to work towards a global sustainable economy. 

Fluency in both Dutch and English is an essential requirement. 
Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience preferred
Background in industrial ecology, industrial design, environmental engineering, material sciences, environmental management, or similar field of study

Also accepted: Applicants with relevant work experience, such as corporate environmental management, sustainable product design, or sustainable supply chain management

Foundational knowledge of key sustainability topics and systems thinking
Experience with cost-benefit analysis and financial modelling is a plus
Good writing skills in English and Dutch
Strong data analysis skills (comfortable working with large data sets in Google Sheets or Excel)
Excellent communication skills
