The team, position & mission:

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to gain practical experience in the field of compensation and benefits while contributing to the efficient operation of the company's mobility and office management functions. You will both work for the local Finance Team as the local People & Culture (HR) Team. Our office is based in Amsterdam, we also provide hybrid working.

Key areas of responsibilities:

Mobility Management:

Assist in managing the company's mobility programs, including but not limited to company cars, public transportation benefits, and other mobility solutions.

Maintain records of company-owned vehicles, including registration, insurance, and maintenance schedules.

Mobile Telephone Management:

  • Support the administration of the company's mobile phone program, including issuing, tracking, and managing mobile devices for employees.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with mobile service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and adequate coverage for employees.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting mobile device issues and inquiries from employees.

Compensation and Benefits Administration:

  • Help maintain accurate records of employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Provide support during open enrollment periods by preparing communication materials and assisting employees with inquiries.

Office Management Support:

  • Assist People & Culture team with tasks such as booking flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements for employees.
  • Help maintain office supplies inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new software systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with compensation and benefits administration is a plus.

Critical competencies for success

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication in both Dutch as English and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
