Technical Business Analyst
As a technical business analyst you will work in one of the scrum teams responsible for a selection of capabilities of the Global Data Platform (GDP). Your responsibilities will include requirements analysis, solution analysis and translating functional requirements into technical requirements in close collaboration with the development team, Product Owner and Solution Architect
.
Depending on your skills and experience you can also get really hands-on with our solutions and services.
The team is responsible for data protection capabilities, integration with on-premise source systems, testdata sharing and platform monitoring capabilities. Because we work on these core platform capabilities our team operates in a relatively technical environment. You will also contribute to some of our operational responsibilities.
Impact
As a technical business analyst Global Data Platform you make a difference by:
- translating functional requirements into technical solutions together with the team
- having a good understanding of data management and data engineering concepts and Azure services forming the Global Data Platform
- facilitating and guiding the team with breaking down features into logical and clear product backlog items
- understanding the need of having a secure, scalable and stable environment for our customers data processes
- Identifying and investigating improvements to our current services
- Contributing to improving processes and communication by participating in our Area’s Business Analysts Chapters
(Requirements)
Strong technical skills, open communication, working together, providing feedback, having a structured way of working and the ability to visualise or document clearly are key talents that a business analyst embodies.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a technical business analyst or a similar role
- Good communication skills
- Good understanding of and experience in several Microsoft Azure Services
- Good information/data analysis skills
- Experience in complex data environments
- Experience with working in agile teams
- Knowledge of Azure Storage (Blob / Data Lake Storage)
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the below mentioned Azure resources:
- Azure Backup
- Azure Resource Manager
- Azure Core Infrastructure (Storage, Networking)
- Azure App Service, Functions
- Azure Active Directory, RBAC
