Quality Engineer
Profile Quality Engineer
Do you have experience in quality management and are you looking for a new challenge in the offshore energy industry?Quality Engineer
to guarantee all company endeavours fulfil high-quality standards, safety, and compliance standards.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Foster a positive HSEQ culture and behaviour within the team's influence, ensuring adherence to local codes and practices.
- Assist project leadership in implementing the management system to uphold quality standards.
- Ensure all project activities meet Quality regulatory and client requirements, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Deliver project-quality documentation and materials as needed.
- Review and approve project documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and As-built documentation.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding Quality-related inquiries.
- Conduct Supplier assessments and support audit/assessment programs.
- Coordinate onshore inspections and define inspection strategies for offshore operations.
- Properly notify, investigate, review, and follow up on non-conformities.
- Track costs associated with non-quality performance, identify trends, and report findings.
- Provide support for project execution, both onshore and offshore.
- Offer input and support during the tendering process.
- Ensure HSEQ benefits from Lessons Learned and aligns with best practices to mitigate risks.
Requirements Quality Engineer
- At least a Bachelor's level of education.
- Experience with ISO9001 based quality management systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with risk and opportunity management practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other departments, both onshore and offshore, client representativeness, suppliers, certifying and legislative authorities.
- Possess a practical, analytical, accurate, and problem-solving attitude.
- Proficient in writing reports in English clearly and coherently.
- Proactive and self-starting mentality.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Recognized qualifications may be required, but transferrable skills will also be considered.
