Who we are looking for:
A highly impactful HR Business Partner, passionate about people and adding value to the business through having the right people, in the right place at the right time delivering at their best. Working within a high performing HR team who is responsible for 9 countries where our client currently operates outlet shopping centres: Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and Poland, and London based employees.

Key objectives
  • Working in close partnership with the HRD and the HR Team to create a high-performance culture across the company, implementing effective people and organisational development strategies to enable our client to deliver its vision and business KPI’s, whilst living their values, and delivering the mission and vision
  • Fulfil an active role with the HR team to elevate the people management capability across the company, focusing on driving forward effective performance management and talent development activities, to enable people leaders to be even more impactful and inspiring
  • Proactively seek opportunities to deliver a value-added HR support for all employees within the company
  • Be the champion of the newly implemented HR system, Dayforce - proactively encouraging the use of the HRIS tool across the company, working closely with the HR Systems Analyst to keep improving the system, wherever possible
  • Ensure that HR is present and has high levels of visibility, and be the ‘voice’ of the people and encourage the Leadership Team to drive a culture of high employee engagement
  • Coach people managers throughout the entire employee life cycle – with focus on handling employee relations and raising the bar in relation to effective performance management processes in designated client areas.
For this position, it is required to have residence in the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities
  • The designated client group be responsible for the delivery of all HR programmes and processes to drive growth and deliver business objectives
  • Act as the main point of contact for the employees and people managers for all HR related matters within the designated client area, deliver an impactful generalist business partner role with energy, passion and enthusiasm at the core
  • Support the leadership team to develop succession plans and talent development programmes with the designated client areas, taking action to demonstrate growth and development for our talent
  • Support all recruitment and resourcing requirements within the designated client area - managing vacancies effectively and proactively, ensuring roles are filled in a timely manner and cost effective way
  • Partner with the designated client areas to create a highly effective onboarding programme – delivering with high impact and engagement, supporting the new joiners throughout their probation period, and beyond with regular dialogue
  • Ensures compliance with employment legislation and Company policies and procedures across all territories, leveraging support from internal and external employment law specialists

What you need:
  • A passionate, proactive and driven HR Business Partner who thrives in a decentralised, matrix environment, where high impact is essential
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit – where innovation & resilience are of equal importance!
  • Comfortable working in a fluid and matrix environment - connecting with people at all levels within the organisation
  • A curious mind, a commercial drive and an international outlook
  • Demonstrable experience of HR Business Partnering, influencing senior stakeholders on people matters - ideally with an understanding of HR Systems (preferably Dayforce) from working within a pan-European organisation
  • The ability to see the bigger picture, and deliver at the highest level, whilst making sure the basics are right and are executed excellently
