Netwerkbeheerder

Functie omschrijving

Voor onze opdrachtgever, werkzaam in de financiële/hypothecaire sector zijn wij op zoek naar een junior/medior netwerk engineer die ons team kan versterken.

Als netwerkbeheerder ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer, onderhoud en optimalisatie van de netwerkinfrastructuur van onze klanten.

Werkzaamheden:
Beheren van de netwerkinfrastructuur, zoals switches, routers, firewalls en wifi-apparatuur
Monitoren van het netwerkverkeer en oplossen van eventuele storingen en problemen
Implementeren en onderhouden van netwerkbeveiliging
Opzetten en onderhouden van VPN-verbindingen
Installeren en configureren van nieuwe netwerkapparatuur en software
Updaten en onderhouden van documentatie over het netwerk
Adviseren over verbeteringen van de netwerkinfrastructuur en netwerkbeveiliging

Functie eisen

Harde Eisen/KO criteria:
Afgeronde opleiding op HBO niveau
HBO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in de richting van informatica of netwerkbeheer
Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie
Kennis van netwerkprotocollen en -architecturen
Ervaring met het beheren van Cisco- en/of Juniper-netwerken
Kennis van firewalls en VPN-verbindingen
Affiniteit met security

Competenties:
Resultaatgericht;
Communicatief vaardig op alle niveaus;

Working conditions This job role is split between operational (run) and project (build) work (75%/25%). Some changes are planned outside business hours to minimize business impact. This job vacancy is for the location Utrecht (NL).
