Assistant Cooperative Preparator

As an Assistant Working Preparator (Construction) you work as a welder in the Construction department and provide support to the Working Preparatory Worker and fellow Assistant Preparing Worker in carrying out the work. Are you the Assistant Collaborator we are looking for? Then read on!

The position

The position consists of dividing the work (in consultation with production management), taking into account the urgency of the assignments and the capabilities of the employees in the department. Monitoring the planning and progress in the department and also cooperating in the department. You ensure that working drawings, descriptions and materials are available on time and in the right place within the department. You also have a managerial role and you are responsible for the (co-)management of employees in the department. You give colleagues instructions about the work and have a monitoring role on the quality of the work performed. Is the quality not satisfactory? Do not hesitate to direct your colleagues accordingly.

Your challenge

You are stress-resistant and a flexible team player who is responsible for planning work and (co-) managing colleagues. You will also work in the department at the level of a 1st Operator/Welder.

What do we expect from you?

This position requires at least a working and thinking level of MBO 3. Accurate work and a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mentality are a prerequisite. We expect you to be able to work well with colleagues. Of course, a good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written, is required and it is an advantage that you can speak English and German. You will be working in two shifts.
