IT Specialist Cloud Security

In the position of IT Specialist Cloud Security, you will serve as the expert in Cloud security within our Multi Cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for the security of our Cloud environments, which include Azure, AWS, and GPC;
• Providing consultation and guidance to resource group owners on implementing security enhancements;
• Overseeing and assisting with the implementation of new systems, such as setting up Single Sign-On (SSO);
• Generating reports on the overall health of our cloud security posture.
• Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during security incidents and participating in incident response efforts;
• Administering Cloud Security tools, such as Azure, Intune, and Wizz;
• Providing security advisory for business and cloud projects;
• Collaborating with a global team.

Overall, your role will be crucial in ensuring the optimal security of PACCAR’s Cloud assets.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for a candidate who recognizes themself in the qualifications and skills below: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ICT Security;
• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud security technologies and products;
• Proven track record of creating and implementing complex security architectures in a multi-cloud hybrid cloud environment;
• Certifications in Azure security and AWS Security would be highly beneficial;
• Flexible and adaptable, with a passion for learning and working with new technologies;
• Customer-oriented mindset, collaborative approach, proactive, analytical, and excellent communication skills;
• Willingness to travel for work, if required;
• Proficient command of the English language.

Department

PACCAR IT Europe plays a crucial role in developing, supporting, and managing the information systems for approximately 10,000 users across DAF, PACCAR Parts, PACCAR Financial, and PacLease. The IT Security Operations department within PACCAR IT Europe takes charge of designing, implementing, and managing security-related IT systems. Additionally, this department is responsible for security incident response and monitoring as part of its global responsibilities.

In collaboration with the North American IT Security Operations department, our responsibilities encompass:

• Combination of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID for effective IaM;
• Perimeter Security, which involves managing firewalls;
• Ensuring robust Cloud Security;
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM);
• Serving as the first point of contact for our external Security Operations Center (SOC);
• End Point Protection Systems;
• Designing the Technical Architecture for security-related components;
• Conducting proactive Threat Hunting to identify and mitigate potential security threats;
• Managing a diverse range of Security Tooling, consisting of approximately 50 tools.

In our Security Operations team, we are currently seeking a skilled IT Specialist Cloud Security who can use their experience to enhance our cloud security practices. This individual will play a crucial role in improving the overall security posture of our multi-cloud environment.
