As an Instrumentation Designer, you will play a crucial role in the detailed design and implementation of instrumentation, fire detection, and telecommunication systems for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in greenfield projects, particularly in offshore platform design, as well as a strong background in HV substations design. Additionally, proficiency in telecom systems and familiarity with industry-standard software tools is essential for success in this role.What do you need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working for an engineering company, with a focus on instrumentation and telecommunication systems.
- Extensive experience in greenfield projects, particularly in detailed design and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in offshore platform design and HV substations design.
- Experience with telecom systems including CCTV, PAGA, door access control systems, WiFi, and Local Area Networks.
- Proficiency in preparing instrumentation detailed design deliverables such as cable lists, block diagrams, layouts, termination diagrams, installation hookups, and mounting typicals.
- Familiarity with E3D software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Smart Plant instrumentation software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
