Internship/graduation K3D

Are you looking for an internship or graduation assignment that gives you a lot of freedom and the opportunity to develop yourself? What are you going to do with us?

We are looking for an HBO intern / graduate for our growing and innovative business who likes to take on the challenge of optimizing processes. You will work in a young team consisting of 8 employees and can contribute to innovative projects.

The internship / graduation assignment can be formulated in one of these directions:

• Developing material parameters for the printing process;
• Exploring software for design / work preparation;
• Creating designs for 3D metal printing;
• Programming 6 + 2 axis robot.

What do we ask of you?

Knowledge and experience

• You are pursuing a college degree in industrial design / mechanical engineering or mechatronics;
• You would like to learn something about 3D metal printers and how they work;
• You enjoy being practical and figuring things out;
• You are able to work independently and take initiative;
• You have ambition to develop yourself further.

Personal characteristics

We work with self-managing teams that are open to your input and are therefore looking for someone with the following personal characteristics:
You are eager to learn and would like to get to know the details of our work in order to become an expert in the field. In addition, you are a real team player who is driven by a technical challenge. Moreover, you are flexible in your work.

Who are we?

K3D is a full-service company in the field of industrial 3D metal printing (additive manufacturing). Our services include the production of AM parts including post-processing, as well as consultancy and training in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM). We have two state-of-the-art production facilities for the production of metal AM parts for demanding industries. The head office is located in Terborg and our second branch is located on the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven. K3D is a subsidiary of Royal Kaak, a leading manufacturer of industrial bakery equipment.
