The ambition of Europarcs is to become the largest and best operator of holiday parks in Europe. The pace of growth is fast and results in a very dynamic environment. To successfully manage this, Europarcs is rapidly developing and growing its internal organization. As part of this process we are now seeking a Business Controller, who can help Europarcs to achieve its goals.

What are you going to do? As Business Controller you'll report to the Manager Business Control. You'll work closely together with the other business controllers in The Netherlands and the country finance managers in Austria and Belgium. In this role you are financial sparring partner of the leadership team, with whom you will be in daily contact to align on financial-, operational- and risk related matters, as well as opportunities. Specific focus areas are rental sales and corporate affairs (Headquaters).

In this position, within our growing company, your main responsibilities are:

• Rental sales:
• Financial business partner of the director rental sales;
• Monitoring, budgeting and forecasting rental sales, both on arrival date (relevant for revenue recognition) and booking date;
• Advising the director rental sales on marketing expenditures, incl budgeting, forecasting and monitoring effectiveness;
• Continuous improvement and optimalization of the various management information systems / reports and the associated data management
• Advising the rental sales director in the design and implementation of the distribution channel strategy, including use of third party travel agents and tour operators;
• Advising the rental sales director on the performance of the websites and call centers.

Head office:

• Cost control departments, including budgeting and forecasting;
• Capex control head office;
• Internal controls head office processes;
• Personnel costs monitoring.

Who are we looking for?

In this dynamic setting we are looking for a Business Controller who knows what good looks like. He or she has experience in a professional medium- to large size multinational company, and is able to use this experience to identify improvements and take the necessary steps to achieve them. He or she therefore enjoys contribution to the improvement of processes and in that context is able to think outside of the box. It is important to be pragmatic where possible, but also strict when necessary. And last but not least, we are looking for someone who is a team-player and who gets satisfaction from helping other people grow in their jobs as well.

We also ask:

• A completed Masters Degree in (business) economics;
• At least 5 years of experience;
• Fluent command of the Dutch and English language;
• Willingness to travel (both domestically, as well as internationally 2-3 times a year);
• A can-do mentality;
• No 9 to 5 spirit.

• EuroParcs has a 38-hour working week. If you work on the basis of a 40-hour work schedule, you are entitled to 12 ATV days.
