We are currently recruiting for a specialised Corporate Services firm who is looking for someone to act as the link between the Fund Services' business heads and Compliance teams globally, ensuring both the firm and their clients are in line with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor regulations affecting operations; ensure understanding of regulatory requirements and design controls and operational environments to meet regulations and industry standards in relevant areas.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the investment fund industry; stay updated on market, regulatory, and industry news to serve as a compliance expert and key resource.
- Provide training and guidance on risk and compliance topics to investor relations officers, legal account managers, and fund accountants throughout the client lifecycle, including client acceptance due diligence, transaction monitoring, periodic reviews, and exit processes.
- Lead compliance programs to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of controls and drive the identification and development of corrective action plans to address any deficiencies in frameworks.
- Establish standards and metrics for operational efficiency and deliver required compliance audit reports to business leaders.
- Lead the development of compliance policies and procedures and collaborate with business leaders to oversee the implementation of compliance standards and practices.
- Participate in various projects and working groups, collaborating with compliance officers across different jurisdictions.
- Manage several group compliance policies and actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the related control framework.
- Participate in Client Acceptance Meetings, Internal Compliance Meetings, Business Compliance Meetings, and Compliance Management Meetings.
- Fluent in Dutch
- Compliance experience in the Fund Services industry.
- Excellent understanding of AML, KYC, Sanctions regulations, and the regulatory framework for Fund Management and Services.
- Knowledge of risk management principles.
- Strong organisational skills, proactive nature, and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability in solution-oriented and innovative thinking, with capacity to oversee projects from conception to completion.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- Excellent communication skills for fostering and maintaining strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
