Container Driver

What will you be doing as a container driver?

As a container driver at NBK, together with the transport planners and your fellow NBK drivers, you will be responsible for timely pulling out and handing in sea containers in the harbor(s) and for timely loading and unloading at both our own warehouses as those of our customers. You will do this all with your own truck, which NBK will provide! You will take great care of your load and for the transportation materials. Next to that you will manage and check the paperwork provided at the terminals.

What do we expect from you?

• You have knowledge and experience with the Rotterdam and Antwerp harbor areas;
• You are in the possession a CE drivers license;
• You have a flexible mentality;
• You adapt easily to irregular working times that may apply to this job;
• Your code 95 is in order and you are in the possession of a valid driver’s card;
• Being in the possession of a ADR certificate is a pre. You at least have to be willing to attain said certificate;
• You are representable, social and are in for a chat;
• You collaborate with your team to find appropriate solutions when needed.

What could you expect from us?

With all this you will of course be rewarded with a fair salary in line with the CAO professional freight transport, flexibility in deciding your own working hours and next to that you will receive training and education, all at the expense of NBK. What type of contract will you get?

You will get a contract for 12 months with a future perspective to a contract for an undetermined period of time.

Where will you be working?

NBK was founded in 1919 and is a young, mainly dynamic logistical service provider from the Rotterdam harbor. NBK is specialized in transporting and warehousing dangerous goods and excise goods. We do this all in-house!

Next to logistical services, we also offer additional services such as filling in customs declarations, fiscal representation and we provide training regarding dangerous goods, customs, fiscal and intellectual property. Our main goal is to unburden the logistical questions of our customers. Together with you we would like to face this challenge every single day!
