About the job

Our Company

Hi there! We are Wayfinders, a young, creative agency from the Haarlem/Amsterdam area. 
We offer a program that helps fast-growing startups to not lose their DNA. This is important – because once your team starts to grow rapidly – it’s not always easy to preserve your startup’s unique culture. 

We work for startups all over Europe – who, like us, find it important to build an awesome culture straight from the core, and strong enough to survive the growth storms. 

This year we are developing an app and online platform to keep widen our scope towards the international startup-market. And we’ll need to redesign our company’s visual identity as well. 

Today our team is still small. But we will also start to grow soon. Therefore, we can really use someone like you to help us build the visual fundaments of our brand.

Job description and activities 

We are looking for a young, intelligent all-round designer with a strong sense of style, efficiency, concept and strategy. Together with our main art director, you’ll be responsible for telling the right story in every visual touchpoint with the client. 

• You’ll support our culture coaches with strong visuals and templates;
• You’ll work on the visual identity of our workshop material;
• You'll co-develop the UX design for our culture management-app;
• You’ll co-develop the rebranding of our house style;
• You’ll help translate our new house style to the interior design of our office.

About you

Profile

• You are an intelligent, strategic, all-round designer;
• You have a strong sense of style, efficiency & concept;
• You are interested in topics like ‘company cultures’ and ‘brand identities’;
• You are willing to support where needed and a pleasant person to work with;
• You went to a graphic design school or something related;
• You know Adobe Creative Suite like the back of your hand;
• You have experience in UX design (= nice to have, no must);
• You are comfortable communicating in English;
• You live in the Netherlands and you’re planning to stay.

What we offer you

• We’ll teach you all about ‘core identities’, ‘culture design’ and ‘tribalism’. 
• We’ll help you become a junior art director with solid, all-around design experience; 
• We’ll pair you with a senior art director from the advertising industry who will mentor you during your internship.
• We’ll include you in the design process of our culture management app;
• We’ll offer you a monthly internship fee of €325 for four days a week;

Practical information

• You’ll be working on your own laptop;
• You’ll be working from Monday to Thursday (four days a week);
• Starting from August / September;
• Duration: 5-6 months;
• Our office is located in Haarlem (15 min by train from Amsterdam Central).
