At PGGM we recognize the critical role metadata plays in maintaining a robust and reliable data ecosystem. As a Data Management Consultant Metadata for the Investment Management domain, you will be at the forefront of our data management efforts, ensuring that our organization's data is accurate, consistent, and easily accessible. Your role will contribute to improving our data quality, optimizing our metadata, and establishing and executing effective data governance practices.Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their metadata needs and provide guidance on metadata management.
- Support data integration projects and Collibra implementation by mapping and documenting metadata requirements.
- Provide input, based on your stakeholders feedback, to design and maintain metadata models in Collibra.
- Support the Data Management Office of Investment Management (DMO-IM) team in the further development and implementation of metadata strategies to improve data quality, integrity, and consistency.
- Conduct metadata audits and assessments to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Support data stewardship efforts by providing guidance on metadata-related tasks.
- Manage and maintain metadata repositories, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Promote a culture of data governance and educate teams on the importance of (meta)data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce metadata standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in metadata management and data governance.

You bring this experience and knowledge:- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management), preferably with advanced certifications.
- 2-5 years of proven experience as a Metadata consultant or similar role, with a good understanding of metadata, data quality, and data governance principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch.
- Experience with metadata tools and technologies (E.g. Collibra, Purview, etc).
- Medior-level knowledge of data analysis/profiling, metadata modelling, schema design and database concepts.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, such as DAMA-DMBOK and ISO 8000.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsand stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex organizational environment.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve complex data-related problems.
- Experience in developing and delivering Collibra training programs is a plus
