As a back-end developer, you are part of one of multiple product development teams where you deliver a crucial contribution to the development of the WPP Open Dynamic Content (ODC) SaaS platform. ODC is a young, ambitious and fast-growing organization where flexibility, commitment and quality are highly valued. We are not looking for the quick fix or the workarounds, but we want to develop our product with the utmost concern for stability, scalability and flexibility from a long-term vision.

Your profile

5+ years working experience as a backend developer
Experience with Functional programming like
Haskell and Clojure
Experience with Microservices architecture
Communicative
team player, analytically strong
So what does it mean to work as a developer in one of the ODC teams? We have a growing development team, which is supported by a team of scrum masters, business analysts, product owners and UX’ers. Your responsibilities are to design, build and maintain microservices written in Clojure (and to some extent in Python). You work closely with product owners on refining features. You help to identify and solve issues with the platform and its internal systems. In your daily work, you will work closely with SRE’s and Quality Engineers to maintain and improve the stability of the software system.
