Housekeeping Supervisor

The Dylan Amsterdam is looking a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor. As Housekeeping Supervisor you support the activities of the Housekeeping Manager and you coordinate the activities of the Room Attendants, Linen Room Attendants and Turn Down Service. You lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed. You handle guest concerns and manage the Lost and Found and help the guests if needed. You are responsible for checking the hotel rooms and public areas and check the status of technical devices and report any damages to the relevant department. Furthermore you make sure your team follows hotel policies and procedures and follows all safety and sanitation policies.

Who are you?

• You have experience in a similar position in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• You have the ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• You have excellent communication skills and you are able to motivate your colleagues.
• You have an eye for detail.
• You are stress resistant.
• You have strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• You feel responsible and reliable.
• You speak English
