What are you going to do?

We know the current market is very challenging, as it is characterized by the energy transition, digitization, possible disruptive entrants to the market and increasing competition. As a result, we must increase our focus on the customer and find different or new ways of working together. In short: this is a dynamic, modern world in which Remeha is actively changing.

This means that our product portfolio has changed and will continue to change. Heat pumps and hybrids are now included in our portfolio. For these products, as well as for our boilers, we have developed a brand-new digital platform (IoT). We plan to develop and launch more new digital products and solutions for this platform on the market.

We will continue to set up our Product Marketing department, at our Apeldoorn site, for Remeha Benelux. This set-up is aligned with the current or future set-ups of the Sales Units in Belgium, The Netherlands and Export, and the 6 Business Development Units (BDU’s) in BDR Thermea Group.

To manage the transition and innovation of our product portfolio, and to further optimize the department, we are looking for a modern manager with experience in product management/innovation, ideally with experience in renewable products (heat pumps, cooling etc.)

In this role, you will manage and support the PM team, consisting of 3 segment portfolio managers, 8 product managers, 6 product marketeers, a trade product team and systems engineering team. You will have strong liaisons with The 6 BDU’s through the Group Product Managers and R&D teams. You will report directly to the Managing Director Benelux and you will be part of the BNL Management Team.

The successful candidate will start by focusing on the customer and building customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will have a modern style of managing, with excellent listening and coaching skills. He/she will be able to manage situations and show respect for colleagues, while being results-driven with a flexible approach to work. We are looking for a manager who will contribute to our corporate culture: at Remeha, we are caring, smart and impactful.

Additional skills/experience:

  • Technical product knowledge and market insight and experience, ideally with heat pumps, cooling systems or other renewable products;
  • Familiar with latest developments in the field of portfolio management (Lifecycle analytics, Voice of Customer Approaches, VaVe techniques, cost price starting points, Brand Design Principles, Product Roadmap Management);
  • A team player with excellent negotiating and process guidance skills;
  • Demonstrate an approach which embraces change;
  • Show responsible and pragmatic entrepreneurship which contributes to a sustainable Remeha;
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

Qualifications/work experience:

  • Academic degree in engineering, industrial design, engineering or a comparative technical study;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Productmanagement/ Innovation management;
  • A young mind with a mature attitude;
  • Experience in a multinational setting with a complex alignment structure.
