International Corporate Communications Officer

Part-time: 24 hours per week

Job description

As our International Corporate Communications officer, you provide communication support to the colleagues at our Country Offices. As a true all-rounder, you are happy with the diversity of tasks at hand. You like variety and challenges. One minute you are designing a beautiful and informative factsheet, the next you are creating a human interest story. All with the aim of strengthening the positioning and reputation of Dorcas in the countries where we work.

For this job we are open to people with different levels of experience. Whether you have several years of relevant work experience or are an ambitious job starter, we would love to hear from you!

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You develop creative communication materials, such as posters, flyers and presentations
• You are involved in designing and making videos
• You supervise the (external) production process of promotional materials
• You manage (part of) the content of our international website (Dorcas.org)
• You create attractive visuals that can be used internationally on, for example, international days
• You support the International Corporate Communications Advisor in her work

Who are we looking for

• You take initiative, are creative and hands-on
• You have completed an education in the field of marketing and/or communication
• You work easily with Word, PowerPoint and have experience in using WordPress, InDesign and photoshop
• You are knowledgeable about social media and enjoy working with it
• Excellent command of English, mastering the Dutch language is not a requirement
• You have affinity with international development cooperation
• You live and work inspired by your Christian faith and can wholeheartedly agree with our
