Financial Accountant wanted for an Amsterdam based investment company. The administration consists of several Dutch and German legal entities. Are you looking for a new step in your career? Job profile
You will work closely together with the CFO in a small team based here in Amsterdam. Therefore that means that you will get a lot of responsibilities and you will have a broad scope. In this role you can help to set up new financial processess because they will insource the administration to an ERP system.- Performing the day-to-day accounting (mainly GL accounting) of the entities;
- Preparing the monthly p&l and balance sheet reports;
- Consolidate monthly the group results;
- Assistance in setting up a consolidation tool for the group;
- Preparation of tax returns (VAT and CIT);
- Regulatory Reporting;
- Creating KPI reports and Monthly Operating Review;
- Preparing monthly cash flow statements and controlling expenditure;
- Preparation of statutory accounts;
Requirements
- HBO level and education towards MBA or SPD (or international equivalent);
- Accounting experience in a finance department;
- Good understanding of Dutch GAAP, IFRS is plus;
- Good understanding of Dutch Taxation
- Fluent in English, Dutch language skills is a pré;
- A team player with a positive critical and pro-active attitude, a strong personality and a “hands-on” mentality;
- Able to work independently and accurately with effective communication skills.
