Are you ready to be the first line of support in the field for a leading innovator in the energy sector? Alfen is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician in Sweden to ensure the optimal performance and safety of our systems. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our customers' satisfaction by executing annual maintenance plans, diagnosing and repairing systems, and upholding our commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Execute Alfen’s annual maintenance plans, prioritizing system health and safety.
- Analyze, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs on Alfen’s customer systems.
- Replace and install components as necessary to ensure system functionality.
- Assess the impact of field procedures on customer operations.
- Collect and record relevant data for system diagnostics and repairs.
- Collaborate with Alfen’s Support Engineers to identify and resolve system malfunctions promptly.
- Maintain Alfen’s contractual obligations by optimizing system uptime and adhering to response times and deadlines.
- Drive customer satisfaction by delivering world-class support.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance Alfen’s support processes, products, or services.
Requirements:
- Command of the English and Swedish languages in word and writing
- Highly flexible and self-organized.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including on-call, weekends, and evenings.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed (role expected to be on the road 75% or more).
- Vocational College (MBO 4) in Electrotechnology or equivalent.
- Experience or knowledge of Power Electronics.
- Previous experience in field service within a technical and B2B environment.
- NEN 3140/3840 certification or willingness to acquire.
