Do you have the hands on experience as a research technician in chemistry in an experimental environment? If so, then the challenging position below might be something for you:

Your role is to:

  • Perform wide variety of chemical process studies on radioactive/non-active materials, as a part of national or international research projects;
  • Work with engineers to develop/adapt experimental setups suitable for
testing in shielded environments (hot cells & gloveboxes);
  • Maintain an excellent information log of all sample preparation activities;
  • Support lead scientists in the definition of experiments and analysing test data;
  • Be responsible for arranging required maintenance of the facility in contact with suppliers.

You have:

  • A mbo or hbo degree in a relevant discipline like chemistry, material science or process engineering;
  • Preferably 3 – 5 years of experimental and theoretical experiences in chemical processing and analysis;
  • Experience in working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment;
  • Good communication (Dutch and English) and technical reporting skills;
The ability to work autonomous , pro-active , and ready to accept new challenges and responsibilities;
  • The ability to quickly integrate and work in a multi-disciplinary, international team and effectively collaborate and communicate to meet the deadlines and deliver against program goals.
