Easy rental process, friendly staff, and fun little boats. Not the fastest or the biggest rental boats available, but you can't beat the price and they are easy and intuitive to operate with everything you need for an amazing time. There's no better way to see the city. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Amsterdam!

We rented a boat for 3h, from 4-7PMThe fully electric boat is operated with steer and speed handle and requires no boat license to operate (but it sure helps if you are aware of basic physics if you navigate the more narrow grachten).Top speed is 5km/h and we were able to explore a wide area of the waterways in Amsterdam with the map they provided us with. The time estimates are a pretty good gage to see how long you will need back, though we deviated from the main tours to explore a little.Great for two people, even better for up to six friends and you can pack some snacks and drinks to enjoy on the water

Fed up with being treated like sheep on one of those long tour boats that only take you out for an hour? Well, Boaty in Amsterdam is your answer! You can go our for three or four hours at your own pace, where ever you want to go and you pick your fellow passengers, six, total. Boats are easy to operate. Just make sure your smartphone has enough charge to show you where you are, to cross check the map, because it's easy to make a wrong turn. The Boaty people are great and you'll be unique among your friends who only come to Amsterdam and do the usual touristy things! The skipper needs to stay completely sober, though, and assume that others on the canals don't necessarily pay attention.

It was a wonderful experience riding on a boat in the canals of Amsterdam. You get to see Amsterdam‘s nice architecture. A very friendly guy called Spencer helped us getting ready for the boat. There are a few route options and he explained them all. Throughout our ride we had a few little problems which were immediately solved by Spencer. I just want to thank Boaty for this nice experience and Spencer for being so helpful and making this experience possible.

De route was prachtig en wij hadden een quiz bijgeboekt waarbij er leuke en originele vragen werden gesteld. Wij komen hier met het bedrijf (of privé) zeker nog eens terug!!

Well maintained and prepared eBoats for a 3h excursion. Could be 2km/h faster to utilize the speed limit. We used about 10min longer for the round trip, even with only a short break, but the short overtime was no issue.

In late July my family had a fantastic experience with Boaty! Berend set us up with a boat and some advice on where to go-- we spent 3 hours exploring Amsterdam's old city from its canals. A beautiful way to see the city. Highly recommended.
