Job description

To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lab Technician for our process lab. Are you the lab technician who is accurate, has strong laboratory skills and is a team player? Then we are looking for you! Do you want to join our team? Then read further.

What do you bring?

• Comparable knowledge to MLO+ in chemistry or process engineering.
• Typically, experience up to 3-5 years of industrial experience in the field of chemistry, (bio-) pharmaceuticals, food, or biomaterials.
• Precise and accurate, practical experimental and administrative skills.
• Results-oriented, precise/accurate, team player, handy and good communication skills. Good English level.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in the preparation of batch productions.
• Execute experimental plans by applying the required techniques according to procedures and protocols to deliver development results.
• Record experimental results into lab notebooks, batch records and reports to obtained (graphical) overview ready for interpretation.
• Check and report whether process conditions and outcome were conform expectations.
• Assist in data interpretation by reporting observations during the experimental work that could be relevant.
• Propose and implement improvements on the process laboratory, including technical, logistical and EHS procedures.
• Keep equipment in good working conditions. Ensure that maintenance and calibration of the equipment complies with the required standards.
• Write and update Standard Operating Procedures for assigned instruments and equipment.
