Metering engineer

Our Client is looking to hire a Metering Engineer for its Operations department. The Metering Engineer will manage and safeguard the integrity of metering equipment and reporting systems by applying and continuously improving inspection, test and preventive maintenance plans (ITPM’s), within the boundaries of organization standard, contractual and legal requirements, to ensure reliable and accurate. You will be employed directly by our client. 

Key job responsibilities

:
Design and continuously improve ITPM’s to ensure that the integrity of metering equipment is maintained and can be demonstrated.
Provide evaluation of inspection reports and manage the definition of corrective maintenance to maintain the integrity of metering equipment during its lifetime.

Benchmark and calibrate changes in legislation, contracts and industry standards related to metering equipment to ensure that legal requirements, 
trends and developments in the industry are incorporated in PEPN’s processes.
Maintain the fiscal metering manual in line with PEPN contractual requirements.
Ensure reporting systems are functional and accurate and updated against the latest changes in legislation, contracts and industry standards.
Develop and provide maintenance guidelines for metering equipment to enable maintenance engineers to deliver work instructions and execute maintenance on metering equipment.

Provide accurate prediction of yearly budget needs based on well-defined ITPM’s to enable management to make proper budget allocations.
