Logistics Coordinator, Adecco

What will you be doing?
As a logistics coordinator you are part of the GDC team at Tesla, which is located in Tilburg. The team delivers parts to all Tesla service centers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There are several sub-departments; inbound, outbound and stock.Responsibilities
- You will have ownership of all shipment bookings for the facility across multiple transport and logistics providers.
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another with Tesla's logistics partners
- Arrange schedule, transportation, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
- Schedule pick-ups with vendors and monitor shipments in transit, including managing any issues that occur in transit
- Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
- Streamline shipping and transportation processes
- You will identify, process and correct miscellaneous shipment cost issues.

Requirements
- A background in shipping or logistics, knowing how to coordinate en optimize transportation and distribution with other logistic service providers
- Understanding of Quality Management principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel
- Understanding of transportation limitations and regulations
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent in English - other European languages are a plus
