We are looking for a project engineer to join our team of engineers responsible for a wide range of maritime automation systems. You will work together with the sales, production and innovation departments and report to the Project Engineering Manager.Responsibilities
- Project management and engineering from specification to delivery and sea-trials
- Daily interaction with colleagues from sales, drawing, production and test departments
- Communicating with customers about project specific details
- Addressing challenges that might arise during the project in close co-operation with the customer
- Generating project specific documentation like drawings and protocols
- Hardware and software configuration and testing for each system
- Organizing the factory acceptance test (FAT) together with the classification society and the customer
- Commissioning of the systems remote or on site
- After sales and customer support
- Supporting the development of all our products in all aspects
We are looking for
- • Technical bachelor’s degree, preferably in automation, electrical engineering or automotive
- A beginner or someone with several years of relevant work experience
- Experience in developing and maintaining good relationships with clients is a plus
- Affinity with automation, PLC-programming for control of machinery
- Customer oriented attitude • Good communication skills
- Ability to travel abroad • Good analytical skills
- Team player and a positive attitude
