Summary

Als heibaas fungeer je als teamleider en ben je verantwoordelijk voor een zo optimaal mogelijke productie van de funderingsmachine, waarbij kwaliteit, voortgang en veiligheid topprioriteiten zijn.

Je zorgt ervoor dat de hijs- en of funderingswerkzaamheden veilig en zo efficiënt mogelijk worden uitgevoerd
Je staat in voor het aansturen en motiveren van het team van funderingswerkers. Je geeft aanwijzigingen en instructies aan ploegleden die assisteren. Daarnaast motiveer je de ploeg om efficiënt en veilig, conform de veiligheidseisen te werken

Je beoordeelt de terreinomstandigheden, waarop je de het plan van aanpak en de fasering overlegt met de uitvoerder
Je staat in voor het monteren en demonteren van de machine en uitrusting
sstukken, met strikte opvolging van de VGM instructies
Je roept de juiste materialen tijdig af zodat er geen stagnatie van de machine zal optreden
Je staat in voor de communicatie met verschillende actoren; zoals bijvoorbeeld de uitvoerder van het project, het hoofd van de materieeldienst,..
Je beschikt minimum over een MBO diploma
Je bent in het bezit van een VCA-attest
Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring met zwaar materieel en funderingstechnieken. Ervaring met funderings- en hijswerk vanaf een ponton is een plus
Je draagt veiligheid als hoogste prioriteit. Verder beschik je over goede communicatieve vaardigheden (mondeling en schriftelijik), ben je organisatiorisch sterk en heb je een hoog verantwoordelijkheidsniveau

You will lead and manage a tender team through application of our tender and acquisition processes; you will motivate and empower your tender team members from the various DEME Offshore specialists support departments, such as Engineering, Legal, Insurance, Finance, Project Controls. Through facilitating excellent team communication and efficiency, you will support ownership and maximize innovation, targeting a high-quality tender submission and contract. Finally, you and the tender sponsor will take the lead in tender clarifications and negotiations with clients after the submission of the tenders.

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will focus on a wide variety of challenges supporting our cable installation business unit on offshore windfarms. Your challenges will extend from multi-disciplinary cable route engineering to cable burial studies and managing complex soil datasets. You will be responsible for sound and expert output to support our project and tender teams or work on one of our many R&D projects.

The engineering department in Breda consists of approximately 30 employees. You will work in an international team of 8 Hydraulic and Geotechnical engineers. As a geotechnical engineer you will support our commercial and project teams by providing, amongst other things, expert advice on cable protection strategies and cable route design. Together with the team, you will help our society transition to a sustainable future.

As Cable Design Engineer, your key responsibility will be to ensure that the High Voltage Submarine Cable Systems for our EPC subsea cable installation projects are designed, manufactured and tested as per our requirements and project specifications.
