Spaas Kaarsen has a strong presence in the UK & Ireland. Tasked with identifying and cultivating relationships with new partners as well as with fostering growth among existing customers, you are the driving force of further expansion in UK and Ireland.

The UK & Ireland is a very important market for Spaas. As well as in other countries, Spaas has a local Sales Manager in the UK. With emphasis on new business development, your focus lies on bringing on board new long-term partners. Central to this mission is the persuasive articulation of Spaas' added value proposition, highlighting its European roots, its service, commitment to quality, and unwavering dedication to excellence. Together, you and your colleague aim to fortify the brand's presence and influence within these vital markets.

Jouw job

As part of Spaas's business development strategy, with a strong focus on prospecting (circa 70 %), the company offers candles under private label as well as its own brand to a diverse array of retailers and wholesalers spanning food and non-food sectors. These customers operate across multiple market segments, including supermarket chains, home & living retailers, discount stores, drugstores, catering services, garden centres, e-commerce platforms, and more. With a comprehensive and high-quality product range, coupled with solution-oriented thinking and a service-centric approach, Spaas has successfully established itself as a preferred supplier among numerous retailers. Central to its approach is the cultivation of win-win partnerships built on mutual value and collaboration.

Local ambassador and entrepreneur

In the UK & Ireland, the growth potential is huge. The commercial results in this region will be a joint responsibility for you and your colleague. You will have the support from Belgium, but you will be leading the way. Your contacts will usually be professional buyers. For them, you will be a conversation partner at a high level. With enthusiasm and a decisive approach, you will be able to convince them of the possibilities and added value of the Spaas products and organisation. You think in terms of opportunities, and you won't be discouraged easily. This is a home-based role with regular meetings in Hamont, BE. You’ll be reporting to the Sales Manager UK & Ireland.
