About the job
As an electrical/battery technician, you independently carry out installation, repair and maintenance work on electrical installations and battery energy storage systems according to the specifications in the assignment. You always strive for the highest possible level of quality within the framework of legislation and regulations. You mainly work with battery energy storage systems. Do you not have the experience? Don't worry, our client is looking for trainees who they can teach this profession!
- Assembling, installing and testing new battery energy storage systems;
- Required adjustments to or renewal of existing distribution systems;
- Installing battery energy storage systems, both residential and (large) business;
- Instructing users of battery energy storage systems;
- Detecting and resolving fault messages or defects, as well as regular maintenance;
- The successful operational measurement, commissioning and delivery of the battery energy storage systems;
- Installing data loggers and EMS systems with associated data connections such as RS485/Modbus;
- Installing energy meters with coils;
- Checking and testing installations against technical standards and guidelines such as NEN1010;
- Monitoring projects and reporting to manager.
We are looking for people that want to learn this profession!
- Diploma in electrical engineering or demonstrably equivalent working and thinking level is an advantage;
- Passionate about technology and/or sustainability;
- IT knowledge for configuring battery energy storage systems is an advantage;
- An eye for detail and quality;
- Communication skills in contact with clients, colleagues and managers;
- Problem-solving thinking skills;
- A quality and safety-oriented work attitude;
- Flexible, eager to learn and work attitude;
- Be able to work proactively and independently;
- Good command of the English language;
- In possession of a driving license B(E);
- A valid VCA diploma or willing to obtain one.
