Senior Consultant – Sustainability in Supply Chain Management

As a Senior Consultant Sustainable Supply Chain Management, you are high-performing, innovative and committed to go the extra mile to challenge climate change and drive sustainability initiatives at clients. You follow the latest sustainability trends, and you are always one step ahead of your clients envisioning the future of sustainable supply chains. Together with the Supply chain team, you help global businesses and organisations to identify their challenges, measure environmental impact, deliver on their targets and report on sustainability KPI’s to create long-term value. 

Your job in one paragraph

How can we reduce the amount of transport trips made? What is the impact of less packaging on your supply chain and what will be the impact on waste and emissions? As a Senior Consultant Sustainable Supply Chain Management, you are on top of the latest trends in sustainability and new developments in methods and tooling. You enjoy building and maintaining your network and naturally spot commercial opportunities that can be converted into sales. You actively participate in commercial processes by writing proposals. Within projects you work in multidisciplinary project delivery teams where you are responsible for one or multiple work streams such as:

• Executing assessments by mapping out the as-is situation, carrying out analysis and conducting interviews.
• Facilitating change management by making sure the right people are involved.
• Last but not least, you contribute to the growth and development of your colleagues in the Supply Chain practice.

• Experience in designing sustainability supply chain strategies for businesses
• Specific knowledge about carbon measurement and management
• Content expertise about supply chain traceability
• Ability to lead change or transformation projects in an international context
• A network in The Netherlands in the consumer product, retail, production and/or distribution sector, that you can engage with to create new sustainable business opportunities
• Strong communication skills and go the extra mile to deliver the best possible result for our client and your colleagues. You are collaborative in style, empathic in nature and confident in content
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Fluent in English and/or Dutch
• A Masters’ degree in a relevant discipline, for example supply chain management, engineering, environmental science, (technical) business administration, economics, operations research and/or econometrics
